Kylian Mbappé won the World Cup at nineteen, scoring in the 2018 final, and has since become the tournament's all-time leading scorer. He hit a hat-trick in the 2022 final against Argentina — the first since 1966 — and finished on the losing side.
At the 2026 World Cup he took the Golden Boot with ten goals, taking his tournament total to 22 and passing Miroslav Klose's record. He is Paris Saint-Germain's all-time leading scorer and joined Real Madrid on a free transfer in 2024.
