Sergio Ramos is Spain's most-capped outfield player and scored more goals than any defender in La Liga history. He was a centre-back who took penalties, attacked corners as a genuine threat and accumulated more red cards than any player in the competition.
His header in the 93rd minute of the 2014 Champions League final, which took the match to extra time and set up Real Madrid's tenth European Cup, is the most consequential goal of his career. He captained Madrid to three more.
