Overview
Ángel Di María scored in the final of every major trophy Argentina won in his career: the 2021 Copa América, the 2022 Finalissima against Italy, and the 2022 World Cup final against France. He also scored the winning goal in the 2008 Olympic final.
A left-footed winger who played mostly on the right, he was man of the match in the 2014 Champions League final for Real Madrid before an unhappy year at Manchester United and seven productive seasons at Paris Saint-Germain, where he became the club's all-time assist leader. He returned to Rosario Central, his boyhood club, in 2025.
