Overview
Yaya Touré was named African Footballer of the Year four years running, a record. He played in central midfield and, occasionally, at centre-back — including in the 2009 Champions League final for Barcelona's treble-winning side.
At Manchester City he became a goalscoring midfielder of rare output, scoring both goals in the 2011 FA Cup semi-final against Manchester United and the winner in the final. He and his brother Kolo won the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations together.
