Overview
Tim Cahill is Australia's all-time leading scorer and scored at three different World Cups, the only Australian to score at the tournament at all until 2022. His volley against the Netherlands in 2014, struck first time from a forty-yard diagonal, is among the best goals the competition has produced.
He scored 68 goals for Everton across eight seasons, most of them headers despite being 1.78 metres tall, and celebrated by boxing the corner flag. He won the 2015 Asian Cup with Australia at 35.
