Overview
Moisés Caicedo's £115 million transfer from Brighton to Chelsea in August 2023 was a British record. He has since become one of the most effective ball-winning midfielders in the Premier League, consistently leading it for tackles and interceptions.
He came through Independiente del Valle's academy in Ecuador, the same programme that produced a generation of the country's current internationals.
