Overview

Edin Džeko is Bosnia and Herzegovina's all-time leading scorer and most-capped player, and captained the country at its first World Cup in 2014, and was in the squad again in 2026. He has scored more than 350 career goals across five leagues.

He won the Bundesliga with Wolfsburg in 2009, scoring 26, and two Premier League titles with Manchester City — his stoppage-time equaliser against QPR in 2012 set up Sergio Agüero's title-winning goal moments later.
