Overview
Benni McCarthy is South Africa's all-time leading scorer and the only South African to have won the Champions League, with José Mourinho's Porto in 2004. He scored both goals in the round-of-16 win over Manchester United that season.
He was the Portuguese league's top scorer in 2005 and scored 52 Premier League goals for Blackburn. He has since worked as a coach, including at Manchester United.
