Overview
Luis Suárez is Uruguay's all-time leading scorer and won the European Golden Boot twice. He formed the MSN front line at Barcelona with Messi and Neymar, scoring 198 goals in six seasons, and won La Liga with Atlético Madrid in his first season there after Barcelona let him go.
His career carries three lengthy bans — two for biting opponents and one for racially abusing Patrice Evra — alongside the deliberate handball on the line against Ghana in the 2010 World Cup quarter-final that sent Uruguay through. He rejoined Messi at Inter Miami in 2024.
